About 2 months ago I brought a Nintendo WI-FI USB Connector so that I could checkout these cool channels I had read about.
So I installed it as the instructions and it worked like a dream, until about a week ago when it just stopped :yikes:
So I thoght I would uninstall and try to install it again but that has made things worse because I cant even get a signal now from the dongle.
Has anyone had this problem and do you know how to fix it,I have even tryed using the cable supplied to get it away from the computer but no luck.
Pease Help

Hello nerinna, welcome to Wiichat. The Wifi dongle is probably more trouble than it's worth if you wanna know the truth, you may wanna consider getting a wireless router to correct these problems. If you look to the right of the screen here, there is a search bar to search previous threads on this forum; you will find boatloads of info regarding this/these problems and how you may correct them. Let me know if I can be of any other assistance.

No problem, this initially getting the Wii connected to the net is a pain I remember well. Let me know when you get it going or if you need any more help with it.

Yeah, I personally think that a router is much better than the dongle. There are too many problems with the dongle for my liking, so I use a Netgear router to get online with my Wii console. I have not had a single problem since launch, so I would also advice that you make the switch. :)

Anyway, welcome to wiichat and enjoy your stay here.

Check out walmart.com... You can find that specific router at most "mega" stores now. Radioshack, Meijer, Target, Sams, Costco, CircuitCity, Bestbuy...

Anywhere from $40-60 depending on the store.
