wii controller difficulty

i just finished up playing zelda tp and as i was turning it off i noticed a few lines worth of writing come up on screen saying something about the connection but before i could read it the wii had turned off, now my controller wont turn on or work with the wii....

all it does is flash the lights on the bottom of the controller......

what do i do to get it working?

take a firm hold of the power lead at the rear of the Wii. remove it. wait. put it back in. turn on the wii by pressing the power button on the console. At the health and safety screen, press A on your wiimote.

try that first, if no joy,there is another thing to try.. .. .. .. ..

it worked, but what went wrong?

It's a common problem when the Wiimote gets out of step with the Wii.

Don't worry, we've all had to do it once or twice.. .. .. .. And next time it happens to you, you'll know the simple cure!
