Please help. My wii will load a game and play it for a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the disc. It them goes to a black screen saying that it cannot read the disc. Being this has happened to almost all of my games now, I'm sure the problem is with the console. I was able to stay on the wii to make miis so I'm thinking the problem is just reading the discs. How do I fix this without loosing all the information and progress currently on the wii?? Thanks for any help!

i've tried the disc scratch cleaning kits which you can get from most stores (target, walmart, etc... i got mine from cvs)
i had to pour the liquid, then buff/polish it up with heavy pressure.
had to repeat the process 2-3 times before it worked.
EDIT: sorry, i see for you it happens to many discs. well try a disc head cleaner maybe?

that sucks if the cleaner wont work if so u may need to either get a new one or send it into nintendo to get it fixed is the warrenty good

iam going to repair it by replacing the laser with a new one (only $14)
You can either send it to nintendo to repair it ($70)
or
Buy those Wii Lens Cleaner might work ($10 each)
