Wii connect 24 help!!! ahhhh

Hi, i'm getting my Wii on the 8th of December (this friday! HaHa) and i havent got a wireless router for wii connect 24. I dont want a nintendo wi-fi dongle because i think it only works when the pc is turned on. Does it?:crazy:

Do normal wireless routers work whether the pc is ON or OFF? If it is the case then what wireless router will work with the wii? I dont know anything about them. lol.

you can use the router when ur pc is off.....so get a router instead of the dongle thing lol

Yes a router will work regardless of whether a pc is switched on.

modem --> router --> PC
                 --> Wii

Search your favourite store for a Linksys G wireless router.
