Wii Classic Controller

I was finally able to find a second Wii remote and Nunchuck. I also picked up one of the Wii classic controllers. Will the classic controller work for gamecube games or is it soley meant for use with some of the virtual console games?

I think its just for virtual console games.

just for VC and even for those gamecube one would work just as well IMO.
20 bucks isn't too expensive though, but 20$ is 3-5 VC games you could buy and skip the controller :thumbsup:

man, i cant afford another controller(right now anyway) But I think that the classic one is just for VC games, but I heard the gamecube controller works just as good.

Like Seibar said, 20 bucks for a controller isn't too bad. At least it isn't a full priced one. They should make a classic controller that comes with Wii points so you don't have to buy them separate. Just a thought.

Anybody ever figure out what the clip holds on the back of the classic controller is for?
