Hi all

I need my WII to connect to a VPN.

The reason is I live outside of UK and the WII now has BBC iPlayer compatibility to watch shows, but if you go to the BBC site it will not allow viewing due to regional ip restrictions.

I have overcome this through connecting to a UK VPN from my laptop, which works great but watching BBC on my little screen is not enjoyabe and would prefer to watch through my WII, and onto my TV (my TV does not have a VGA socket) so cannot connect laptop.

Any ideas? Could the WII conect to the laptop and then out using the UK IP address? Appreciate any help

VPN and UK TV

I access BBC iPlayer and all other UK TV via the internet with VPN Television. It also works with the new www.seesaw.com.

http://www.vpntelevision.com

I paid $55 for a year and have been very satisfied!

You can use a modified Linksys / Cisco WRT320N router with built-in VPN Client (Mod by Sabai Technology).

Then you can connect your Wii and access through the VPN.

I hope this helps!
