Wii Ac adapter (euro)vs(usa)

Hi,

i have a Wii console from europe RVL-001(EURO) and it came with an AC adapter RVL-002(EURO).

the problem is i live in the usa. Is it possible to use a Wii AC adapter that are used by USA wii consoles? for example would an AC adapter RVL-002(USA) work with my wii?
