Hi I want to get my wii online but I have a laptop running vista & heard the wireless adapters don't work with vista? Any suggestions would be great my actual wireless router is 2 floors away from where I have my wii. Cheers

Some people say they work on Vista, some people say they don't. I really don't know the true answer...

It is strongly recommended to use a wireless router over a usb adapter so you don't always have to keep your computer running. If the connection is strong enough, you should use the wireless router. If not, you should move it closer.

Well, you could buy a router, which would bypass the whole OS problem anyway.

Also, if you're using the official Nintendo USB connector, go upgrade the software, as it now runs on vista too. Believe me, I'm using a laptop with Vista, and my Nintendo Dongle works fine.

Yeah. Vista's fine.

You'll need to download the latest firmware though from the site.
Don't bother with the disc it comes with.
