which modchip is better

The cyclowiz wii modchip or the wiikey.....has anyone hear bought one......does it mess up your wii?

Question: Why would you need the mod chip? Exactly what does it do?

I think it would be somewhat similar to the Xbox mod, but personally, I don't know much about mod chips. I think it would allow you to put emulators on it if I'm not mistaken, though, personally, I'd rather just use the virtual console. It's safer in my opinion.

a mod chip lets you play burned games and dvds to your wii
