Ok, go to your message board, and under register, select an option that says "My Wii Number" or something like that. Or, if you can't find that, just register your e-mail adress, and it will say your number as your email adress. Hope this helped

Just go to the message board and look to the bottom left, there should be two icons click the one with paper. Then click adress book, the number that appear on the front cover of the adress book is your code.

The register option isn't to register your own Wii... It's to add other Wii's to your address book. For example: You read my Wii Number on this site and add it to your Wii... I do the same for you and then we can communicate with each other using our Wiis. Sort of useless at the moment, but I guess it could be useful in the future.
