THQ has released two family-oriented party games for the Wii today, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! Each game delivers the authentic game show experiences that made the TV shows such beloved favourites in America.
In Wheel of Fortune, up to three players spin the wheel, select letters and solve more than 8,000 word puzzles with Pat Sajak and Vanna White, in a bid to win virtual cash prizes. Players can have their Mii represent them in the game if they so wish, and can even unlock customization options for their Mii as they progress through the game, as well as new sets and props.
In Jeopardy! players get to test their wits against a backdrop of the show’s famous set, with up to three players competing in Jeopardy!, Double Jeopardy! and Final Jeopardy! And of course Alex Trebek and Clue Crew member Kelly Miyahara are there cheering you on all the way. As with Wheel of Fortune, players can choose their favourite Mii to represent them in the game, and unlock new outfits for their Mii via the commercial break mini-games. And if you’re someone who likes keeping an eye on the stats, you’ll be glad to know that the game has a tracking system that stores your statistics, such as number of wins and fastest response time.
Both games are in stores now for an SRP of $29.99 each.
