What other devices can be used by the Wiimote?

Most people (who care) know that the wiimotes communicate via bluetooth. Lot's of people are also aware that you can use them as mouse pointers and pc gaming peripherals (with the correct drivers installed, of course).

I was just wondering, what other things (besides PC's) can be controlled via Wii-Mote? I already know that with extensive hardware and software modifications, you can use them on an xbox 360.

What has everyone else heard?

My friend and I, connected my Wiimote to his PS3, but it wasn't able to control anything but it recognized it as a device.
