OK. I have spent an inordinate amount of time reading about this and I have finally cracked and given up. I need some help with a wireless connection.
I currently have a WRT54G v8 router. Wirelessly in another room I have my Wii and my PS3.
My PS3 does not seem to be picky. I can configure the router with WEP or WPA-TKIP and my PS3 wont argue with the connection. I am able to get right online. With my Wii however, I cannot for the life of me get it hooked up.
I have tried all the suggestions that I have run across through various threads in this forum and to no avail. The wii recognizes there is a connection, but it will continue to give me the 51330 error when trying to connect. I have tried adjusting MTU, wireless channel and transmission rate. I have made sure that I am in mixed mode and disabled MAC filter. I am currently using DHCP. No services are blocked and I am entering the key correctly (no matter what encryption I choose). I am at a loss. Can anyone help with this?
Thanks in advance,
