Hey guys. Have a question for you. Now, it might be hard to follow, but I would like some help on this topic. ^^
I have a Wii. I want to connect it to my monitor. I know about a lot of other options, but...
I want to connect it through my SUB-D (VGA) port.
I will have the following items:
- Wii Component Cable
- DVI-I Male to 3 RCA Converter
- DVI-I Female to VGA Male Converter
Now, this is what I want to do:
Wii ==> Wii Component Cables ==> Blue/Green/Red RCA Converter to DVI-I Male ===> DVI-I Female to VGA Converter ==> Monitor.
Just looking at the pronges, this should work. They will all fit together. The only thing I'm not sure on is IF it will work. Will any step in there make it not work? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I just thought I'd ask some techies here. ;3
Oh, and people may ask "why not just use the other methods"? Because I work as a stockboy for a local computer supplies store and can get this stuff for free.
Thanks a lot!
