Weird 360 problem

Ever since i bought my 360 (June 4th 2007), it has always had this one weird problem in which if you have a game in the console before turning it on, then if you don't open the disc tray and blow on the disc, no matter what during some point and time while im playing that game, my 360 will stop reading the disc and a message will appear saying "disc cannot be read". I don't get it, this also happens with absolutely brand-new/flawless 360 discs, if i dont take the game out when im turning the console off, then the next time i play the game it will freeze at a random point because i didnt take the disc out before i played it.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Never had a problem such as that.. However I suggest on phoning microsoft and ask them if there's anything you can do to fix the problem. Otherwise if you bought an extended warranty for your console you could always exchange it for a new one at the store you bought it from.
