If you're looking for a DS version of Guitar Hero, expect to be dissapointed.
Extremely dissapointed.
But, if you're looking for an awesome acoustic guitar simulator, then you'll be extremely happy.
I've been playing on it. There's no real gameplay.
You have a few songs, and the music to them.
Kinda like sheet music, except for Jam Sessions.
But it doesn't keep score. It doesn't set your tempo. It doesn't do anything for you. YOU provide the gameplay.
And the DS speakers are horrible for this game.
Do yourself a favor and get at least a $10 MP3 portable speakers.
At least.
Or you can wait until the pack with the amp comes out.
But yeah. If you were looking for a head-banging rocker game, then look elsewhere.
This is bare-bones, acoustic guitar.
Only the hardcore of guitar players could enjoy this, because if you're like me... Once you finish all the songs, all there is left is free mode where you can record your own songs.
That's a problem if you don't know squat about the guitar.
I reapeat: If you're going to buy this game looking for a Guitar Hero look-alike, then be prepared to be horribly and terribly dissapointed.
I say this because IGN hasn't put out the review on it.
And goodness knows what people would do without IGN.
Extremely dissapointed.
