Video game questions that I can't answer

Well, since my childhood I always had some questions for some things. I still don't know the answers though. And I don't know if there is an answer that's false or true!

Anyways here are the questions that really made me go curious:

Super Mario Bros:
Does Mario eat the Fire Flower or does he merge with it?
Zelda II: Adventure Of Link:
Does the 'I am Error' guy say his name? Or is it just a waste of useless information?
Super Mario World:
Why is the Soda Lake level called Soda lake? It doesn't make sense.
The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask: (a lot of questions)
Why do u get back to the part when you first met the mask salesman when the moon drops?
After you defeat Twinmold and return to Ikana Valley, what does the vortex do? Suck up air !?!?
Who is the friend that Link is searching for?
Metroid Prime 3 Corruption:
Who or what was in the ship at the end when you complete the game 100%?

Do you guys have questions which you are desperate about for an answer?

Mario just poofs into Fire Mario, They don't show him eating or absorbing.
Sounds like Useless information and a Pun.
I haven't seen Soda Lake... Yet.
Link might have used his Ocarina while viewer gets to see the events, or the 'Gods' send him back knowing he's the prophet.
