Usb?

I have tried to search the web high and low to figure out what you can do with the usb ports but it appears there really isn't anything yet. Does anyone know what they will be used for?

I have always hoped there would be a way to externally mod a console and this seem like it would be the way to do it. Connect a USB hard drive and just boot from that. Any thoughts on if that is a possibility?

I use mine for my wiimote charger and my phone charger

So far the usb hubs can be used 'officially' for:
1) A lan adapter
2) The Boogie Mike
3) A usb keyboard for writing messages on the mail and internet services
4) Wiimote Chargers

Unofficially the ports have been used to charge any device (such as a cell phone or mp3 player) which can charge on a usb port.
