US bought Wii in London

Hopefully an easy question here. Will a system bought in the US work in the Uk? I already have a plug adapter but will there be an issue with having to also use a power convertor?

yes it will work but you will not be able to play pal games you can only play us games unless its modded

ps there are lots of other posts asking the same question next please search and then post if you cant find a thread like yours

Two things I guess you could do, get a transformer to convert it to 110v or buy a UK/EU power brick to plug into the Wii.
