Hi everyone,
Was hoping someone could shed some light on a problem that has developed since I brought my UK Wii to the US!
Back in the UK, we had the wii hooked up to a HDTV via a cable with 3 connections that we plugged into a scart adaptor, and it worked fine.
When we moved to the US, our new HDTV doesn't have a scart connector, so I tried the three plugs some of the 5 component slots. The best result was that the picture was totally awful, so I bought a 5 point Wii component cable.
Now when I hook up the US component cable it says 'Mode not supported' or displays so image sounds at all.
Anyone know what's up with it - it's driving us crazy!
Thanks all, Mark
