Gamescom is currently taking place in Germany, and Ubisoft have made a lot of Nintendo fans very happy by taking the opportunity to showcase a very scary and a bit gory trailer from the much-anticipated Wii - exclusive game, ZombiU. The trailer gives you five top tips to survive a zombie infestation, with all the action taking place in the London Underground. The surroundings look terrifyingly life-like, so much so that I will probably only be going on the Northern Line during daylight hours from now on! Watching the trailer, I’m strongly reminded of Condemned, one of the scariest games of all time, so it certainly looks like ZombiU is living up to all the excitement it has been stirring up ever since it was first revealed.
ZombiU has been developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio behind the likes of Dust, Beyond Good & Evil and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and puts players in the middle of London during a Zombie outbreak, during which much first-person shooter survival-horror wackiness ensues. The unique Wii U GamePad acts as your ultimate survival kit in the game, called the “Bug Out Bag.” It’s essentially a backpack stuffed full of maps, tools, weapons, and supplies that you scavenge on your travels through the trashed landscape.
