can you use a lure fishing rod outside of the lure area? also how can you catch the hyrulian pike with the lure ....any tips?

yes, put the coral earing on it, is the hyrulian pike the red thing you have to catch, if so its near the mother and child rocks in zoras domain

Actually, "near the waterfall" is where you can find Hyrule Bass. Try fishing insde the little archway of rock.

you mean pike wana catch a pike not bass (they are everywhere)

well, they are the biggest during fall(switch seasons by exiting and entering the door) you should use a spinner lure.
