I am in Goron Mines. I missed out on obtaining the 2nd attack of using the shield but do have the metal shield....I am getting so frustrated as I cant seem to get past that damn fire ball shooting monster in the lava without getting blasted.......Ive tried edging making sure I protect myself with the shield in defence...it just knocks me off the ledge....pleeeeez help anyone

Soon after entering mines. Jump across lava. Step on pads to stop fire and then walk across a walkway....at that point a fire ball is spat at you...I can deflext it but as dont have the shiekd attack it doesnt kill it...soon as u on the walkway it knock u off even with the shuekd defence.....help plz

These things? Every time I've been through the Goron Mines, I've just ignored 'em (including my first playthrough, in which I also missed the Shield Bash...). Just need to move quick and with proper timing IIRC.
