Finnish game developer Frozenbyte announced this week that action game Trine 2: Director’s Cut for Wii U has just had an important update in the North American and European Nintendo eShop, which includes support for the Wii U Pro Controller, Voice Chat for online multiplayer, German vocals, improved graphics rendering, with brighter and more vibrant colours, as well as several other minor fixes.
"We're happy that the update is finally out, and I apologize for the delays we put gamers through during these past few weeks. Hopefully the new features make up for it!" said Lauri Hyvärinen, CEO of Frozenbyte.
Trine 2: Director’s Cut costs $19.99/€16.99 in the Nintendo eShop, and features 20 exciting levels, including the recently released Goblin Menace campaign, and the Wii U-exclusive Dwarven Caverns level, which makes the Wii U version now the most comprehensive Trine 2 package on any platform. The game has also just been released in Australia and New Zealand.
