Time and Date

im new to the forum and i searched and didnt find the answer to my question.

when i unplug my wii to move it to another room or a friends house, my date and time are lost and i have to reset them. my ps2 has had the correct date/time since i got it 5-6 years ago, and my friends 360 keeps the time. is it just my wii or does this happen to everyone

could the watch sized battery in my wii be bad then? or should i email nintendo about it?

yes you should contact them.

If you got it from an EB games or a store like such that will take it and give you a new one right away do so, so you do not know have wait.

I set my time once, and everytime i unplug it its still the same.

Yeah, I'd contact them, I've taken my wii over my boyfriends, my sisters and to my fathers twice and it's been fine.

i took out the battery today and tested it. its a 3volt battery and it had only .5V. So i went out and picked up a new battery for a few bucks and i should be all set now.
