On September 11th 2007 NHL '08 and NHL 2k8 will be released on the XBox 360, the PS3 and the PC. What's missing?

This is a strange turn of events since EA is pushing every other sports franchise they have onto the wii. Football, basketball, soccer, golf, snowboarding, racing, but no hockey. I was looking forward to seeing how the new skillstick system would play out with the wiimote.

And NHL 2k8 is even more confusing, since it's even coming out on last gen systems, but skipping nintendo.

Has there been any official word why we aren't seeing these games on our wiis?

There is going to be no release of '08 on the Wii. Hopefully next year there will be maybe someone can work on a petition to bring NHL to the Wii, cause EA is too ****ing lazy to get off their asses and do something.
