Neat trick! You can also do this with milk and dishwashing liquid.
Just fill a bowl with milk and put a few different coloured food dyes in it around the edge of the bowl, squirt some dishwashing liquid in the middle, and it looks like the like is pulsating, pushing all the dye around, quite fantastic!
