Hi,
Anyone else had problems connecting via telewest and nintendo USB?
I am on Telewest Blueyonder fixed line cable I do not run a home wireless system. I have a Motorola 4200 router.
I purchased the Nintendo WIfi USB controller (believeing this would be the simplest way of getting the wii online and installed it fine.
The PC connection software runs fine the USB connector is loaded and the software will pick up the WII when I try and connect.
I grant permission for the Wii to connect and then the wii runs through its test connection check and fails.
All firewalls antivirus turned off - (not sure when I should turn them bak on any ideas?)
Do Telewest run their own hardware firewall on the Motorola? Anyone know how to access it? I know telewest used to be a bit funny about mac addresses is this still true?
Any advice would be greatfully received.
Love the wii BTW.
THanks
