Ok. So here's a mind boggler. So I did all the basic connection setup process, updated the Wii 30 billion times, and I still cannot register or "send messages" to emails or other Wii's. I can download games on the virtual console and connect for my updates, but other than that after I click on "accept" for the "USER Agreements" or after the "updates" are done, it takes me back to the Wii Menu, and when I go back to my address book or try to register, the "Send Message" is not highlighted;because i did add my personal email address and I'm not able to "Send Message" to myself; My contacts are also not highlighted on my Address Book like they should be in order to send a message to someone. Again, I do not get any error codes.

I have linksys router WRT54GS v. 1.5. I have my Wireless MAC Filter enabled with my Wii's Mac Address listed on my router settings. My router's security mode is set to "WPA Personal" w/ "TKIP algorithims". My network mode is set on "mixed" and my channel is set to 11. Also, my "BLOCK ANONYMOUS INTERNET REQUESTS" is also unchecked.

I also changed my channel from 6 to 1 to 11. But still nothing. I also disable my security settings. And still nothing. I also tried setting my security mode to "WEP" and still nothing.

I even went to my QoS settings, and added my Wii's Mac Address to my Wireless Device priorities. But again nothing happened.

I also checked MyConnect24 settings on my Wii, and it is set to "On", and my Illmuniation is set to "Bright. So I go to "Wii settings"..and then.."Internet"...and then "User Agreements".... 'Would you like to use the WiiShop Channel andWiconnect24'?....YES!...and then it makes me review the agreements.. I click "ACCEPT"..and then it takes me back the Wii menu??

I have reviewed the "User Agreements" 30 billion times, and I still cannot send messages when it takes me back to the Wii menu and I go to the Message Board.

Could this possibly be that My Wii's wireless card doesnt work? Or is just something that Im missing.

did the people you added to your address book also add you to theirs? you both need to be on eachothers address book before you can send messages. also you need to reply to the email sent to you by your wii to be able to send yourself emails

Ok. Thanks dude. I just solved the problem.

So if theres anyone to blame in this situation, it's friggin MICROSOFT!!! Damn you Microsoft!! Damn you to hell!! I was stupid enough to check my Hotmail through my Microsoft Office Outlook, and it never updated my Hotmail. So now I have decided to smash my XBOX 360 in revenge. I just got my email from my Wii by checking my hotmail through the hotmail.com site. It had all the email that I havent checked for the past week and a half. :mad2:

Just kidding bout the XBOX 360, i think ill just sell on Ebay. :prrr:

So now that I have replied back to my Wii, how long does it take for my Wii to receive my reply?
