The long-awaited new Sonic console game, Sonic Colors, has arrived in stores in North America today. In the new game, Sonic fans get the chance to join Sonic in an interstellar adventure with new powers, exciting moves and bold, colourful worlds to explore. And luckily for Sonic, he’s not alone in this latest adventure, as he’s aided on his quest by the Wisps, an alien race whose energy he can absorb in order to tap into never-before-seen powers and unlock exciting gameplay features.
The plot sees Sonic racing through incredible theme park-inspired worlds to rescue the colourful alien Wisps from none other than the evil Dr. Eggman (of course!) Players can experience both co-op and competitive local multiplayer modes across massive levels with multiple paths, and there are also over 40 single-player stages to explore, designed to provide a new experience with every play.
Sonic Colors is available in shops now exclusively for Wii and DS, with an SRP of $49.95 for the Wii game and $29.95 for the DS version.
