Simple VC Question

Hello guys. I ordered a Wii yesterday it should be here about Monday or Tuesday. My question is can I play VC games offline? I know I have to go online to download it but if I disconnect the internet from my Wii can I still play the games that I downloaded?

My router is not Wii... or even 360 friendly it doesn't work with 3rd party software so I'll have to hook directly into my modem and when I do that it'll cut the internet off of everything else in the house. So, if I connect to the net download a game and disconnect can I still play it?

I know it's probly an ignorant question and my guess is yes you can play them offline but I'd like to know for sure .

Yes, once the game is downloaded onto your Wii's memory, you can play without an internet connection.
