Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that it’s bringing the wonderful and wacky world of Sesame Street to the Wii this summer with Sesame Street: Ready, Set, Grover! The action-filled game, aimed at preschoolers, is designed to promote the development of healthy habits for life. In the game, Grover sets out to create a series of challenges designed to help his Sesame Street pals get up and go! In the course of the game, Elmo and Abby jump over obstacles, row a boat, and play “Grover Says,” all while learning important life lessons on healthy habits to grow with, such as physical activity, good nutrition, personal hygiene, and rest and relaxation.
A cute, soft and fuzzy Grover character cover with special grips that slips over your Wii Remote is available free of charge along with the game, designed to enhance accessibility for pre-schoolers by minimising unnecessary buttons and making the remote easier and more fun to hold.
“Sesame Street: Ready, Set, Grover! uses gameplay to demonstrate how living a healthy lifestyle can be fun for young kids,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “We worked closely with Sesame Workshop, the organization behind Sesame Street, to show simple, age-appropriate ways for kids to grow up healthy, strong and happy.”
