Sensor Bar - Candle Replacement Works

Well I brought my Wii to the lake this weekend and forgot the sensor bar, and decided to try to candle trick. Worked perfectly, and since it was a small TV it worked much better than the sensor bar did on my 60" at home. But next weekend I'll try to remember the sensor bar, don't wanna burn the cabin down. I'll post pics up when I find them.

What's the candle trick? I've never heard of it before.

Ya we all know already. The "candle trick" is just where you light two candles and place them on top of your TV to replace the sensor bar. They emit IR light which is all the sensor bar does so they accomplish the same thing.

I thought everyone here has heard of that? Just go try it. Unplug your sensor bar and put two candles on top of your TV where your sensor bar was. Then turn it on and try it out.

that's awesome, but i have the wii set so that the sensor bar is under the tv, so i put the candles there. then i left the room to go type this! Nothing wrong with that, right?

Some people just can't be trusted with fire; if this is you, just stick with the sensor bar.
