Sega Recommendations

Can you guys recommend some Genesis games for me? I want some good games. I originally bought it for my girlfriend. She likes Sonic, and a few others. I'd like to go out and pick up a few games that aren't very frustrating, but with good stories and good gameplay. I remember liking Bubsy, Headdy, and Road Rash.

Personally I think these are great: Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star II, III, IV, Shinobi III, Micro Machines 2, Zombies Ate My Neighbours, and Ristar.

Prinny probably knows more.

Edit: BTW, I heard that Zombies Ate My Neighbors for Genesis was a rare find. I sold mine at my gamestore a few weeks ago

thats my list lol. prinny named all the best ones from what i remember lol. Road Rash is damn fun. same with streets of rage (loved number 3 because you can be a kangaroo!!). also check out altered beast or something like that. its pretty fun

Thanks Prinny and everybody else. I checked out videos on all the ones I haven't played. Sparkster and Cannon Fodder look pretty fun. Now let's see if I can find them.

Battle Toads is cool but don't expect to beat it with two players. There is a bug that prevents the second player from moving once you get farther into the game

The mega drive version was rubbish

Altered Beast was the first game to come with the genesis before Sonic! Prin Prin is right that the Arcade version is far better.
