The Wii doesn't have a HD, at least not yet, so you can't save games to it if it doesn't exist! You can't save games to the SD card, but you can copy Wii games saves off the internal flash memory to the SD card if you wanted; however you can't play the Wii games saves until you copy them back to the internal flash memory.

Gamecube games MUST be saved to a Gamecube memory card. . .there is no other option at this time.
