Sand Temple Glitch

In the part were all the quick sand and spikes are coming out of the ground I start to go left and walk over the sand and as i get to the ground I am still walking like I am in quick sand.Is this a glitch or am I just not doing this part right?

O thanks sorry I searched for sand temple and didn't see anything about a glitch so I just posted.

yeah you go into wolf form and turn on senses and youll see a bunch of rats holding onto you you shake the nunchuck to make them go away lol
