RE Outbreak Closed

They are closing down Resident Evil Outbreak, that marks the last great PS2 online game. Resident Evil Outbreak 2, and Metal Gear Solid were both closed earlier in 2007. These great games will be missed.

The servers come down on the last day of 2007. 2008 marks the end of the PS2 as Sony starts shutting down production, and stores like Gamestop will stop carrying PS2 titles. To all the Playstation online gamers I will miss you.

REO1 sold a million copies. It was a logical move by Capcom to close the server with fewer players. I just got onto the top 100 one last time playing the Hive. 81st place.

IT'S TIME TO REVOLT AGAINST THIS ACTION, ALL PS2 GAMERS GO OUT AND BUY A PS3 TO SHOW HOW ANGRY YOU ARE!!!!! lol had to be said, ya i didn't have internet on my ps2 so w/e

lol. well they are still making PS2 games, just not PS2 online games. so still all good.
