quick question about friend codes

I know that the DS uses friend codes, and I have heard that the wii will also. I own one game that uses online play on the DS. Now my question is, are there separate friend codes for each game on the DS and in the future the Wii? Or is the friend code unique for each DS and in the future Wii?

No there is only is only one friend code per a Wii console
