question for region lockings

OK ime in France and i got a gift card for christmqs for a shop with TONS of stuff including games. since i live in Australia i was wondering if i can play games from France in Australia (both countries have PAL on their games)

O and wich game would you reccomend out of call of duty 3 and NFS carbon?
(their the only good gqmes they hqve in paris)

Region locked means you can't play games from other regions.

PAL is a region, and NTSC is a region.

OK i have narrowed it down to FAR CRY VENGEANCE and Wario ware.
they have got NFS, call of duty 3 (i dont really like ww2 games though),
and ive qlreqdy got red steel, do you think its worth getting far cry if i have alreqdy got red steel, ( ime gonna get excite truck when it omes out instead of NFS.

Far Cry Sucks!!!

Yea man just get wario ware it has alot of mini games and far cry sucks i wish i would of known that before i bought it! The graphics suck they look like N64. UBISOFT let us down with this one.
