Atari Inc. and The Weinstein Company today announced that the first ever game based on hit TV show Project Runway will hit European stores on March 26th. The game, which is being developed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii by Tornado Studios, puts players in the role of an aspiring fashion designer. Just as in the show, you will be presented with a range of themed challenges in which you must create designs and fiddle creatively with models’ hair, make-up and accessories. You’ll also get the chance to strut your stuff on the catwalk using the optional Wii Balance Board. All the stars from the TV show will feature in the game, including Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors, and they’ll be joined by the top eight contestants from Season Six, including reigning winner Irina Shabeyeva.
As well as taking part in the reality show, players will get to explore the interactive garment studio, plus hair and make-up studios, and find out what it’s like to be a supermodel or fashion photographer in the respective fashion and photographer career modes.
