problem may be almost solved.. plz help!

ive tryed everything (and currently have like 3 posts up) but i think im close. ive changed all the setting on my wii by manualy putting in ip, subnet mask..ect and the ip im using is the same one as the one my comp is ising so there is a conflict which pops up on my computer as an "ip address conflict with another system". is there another ip i can use? ive tryed a couple that i though were in the range of the ones i can use, but i know nothing about internet and ips.

If you type in the same IP'S you get that error. On the Wii change the last number on the IP address to anything you want except what it is on the comp. Keep the rest of the IP the same and all the other stuff the same, I hope this helps.
