Pokemon Battle Revoluion? Should I buy?

I found 50$ worth of toys R us gift cards the other day and thought, hmmm im going to get a wii game. I have been looking into buying Pokemon Battle revolution. People have been saying its a bad game without a Ds version of pearl. is this true?

please answer these questions

1.does the gameplay really get old?
2. Should i wait untill i have enough to buy both games?
3. should i buy a differnt game?!?!?
3.5. If so which game?
4.i love battleing people across the world is this a game for me?
5. Can you train and make your pokemon stronger without a Ds?
6. can you custimze your character without a Ds?
7. Can you share pokemon with people across the world?
8. How many pokemon can you collect without a Ds?

4.i love battleing people across the world is this a game for me? Without D/P you wont have fun all rentals suck.

7. Can you share pokemon with people across the world? You can get there pass and battle a computer with their Pokemon but you cant use them.
8. How many pokemon can you collect without a Ds? Not many and they all suck.
