Planning to buy Wii...

Hey guys!!!

i recently live in a place where they sell multiple versions of the wii (wii europe,wii america, wii japan)

if i buy one, say a japanese Wii, can i use european games or american on it without problems?????

Wii's are region locked.

Each console can only run games from that region. European Wiis can only run European games for example.

I am sorry but you will not be able to do that because the games are in different format. Buy an american wii and you will be able to play only games bought in America. You can mod your wii to play games from other countries, but that is strongly not reccomended.

Well you can mod a Wii but I think that will take a lot of money. Just buy whichever Wii that has your area.

dont mod a wii. buy an american wii because we usually get games before europe does.
