what is the premise of pikmin? I never played the original.

I've never played Pikmin either but it seems like a RTS style game. If the NPC reviews are anything to go by then Pikmin 3 should be a great game.
I might pick up NPC Pikmin 2 as I hear that it is better than the first but the game that I'm really looking forward to is Overlord: Dark Legend, which seems to be a similar concept but just a little more evil. :devil:

from reading Wiki, it does sound like it's sort of like Overlord. I never bought overlord for 360 or Ps3, but the demo was pretty cool. Just not something i would buy at full price.
