Onslaught Campaign

I am trying to play through the Onslaught campaign but
Im stuck on the first boss(a giant bug or sumthin). Im curious as to whether or not there is a special thing to kill it with or a special spot I should shoot it at cuz right now straight up shooting it isnt working....Helpful replies appreciated!:yesnod:

Aim for the green bits on the boss.

Take out the other, smaller, aliens quickly so they can't hurt you.

Use the side dodge to avoid it's attacks.

The missile launcher is probably the worst weapon to use against it.
