Officially Unofficial Zack & Wiki Help Thread

I'm making this thread cause Zack and Wiki is getting tough, and I just started!
Preferably you could outline your help in the format of section of the map/specific stage,
but I forget mine,

So I'm at the level with the fish in the pond(first area of the map), and I got him hooked on the pole, but do I need to get his health bar all the way down? Sometimes the fishing motion doesn't register so I can't get it down far enough. What do I do?

i already beat the game, umm..that was awhile back let me see if i can remember..yes you will need to get his health fully down but u wont be able to do it in 1 try, after u get him down about half ways, he will break away, then u immediately jump down the slide into the pond where the fish is before the evil dude wakes up and gets ya, swim out and get the frog bomb and repeat the step, his life should be lower now, after u fish him out the water it should be easy sailing from then on. hope that helps!
