This thread is for conducting conversations about the upcoming game: No more heroes (previously titled heroes)

Made by the same guys that did Killer 7.

The game is not a sequel to Suda's earlier game, Killer7 for the GameCube and PlayStation 2, but an all-new game running on a new engine. Suda says that while Killer7 focused on political issues, No More Heroes will deal with social issues. The working title of the game prior to November 29, 2006, was "Heroes."

The game sports cel shaded graphics, and the creator said there would be limited wiimote usage, mostly for finishing moves.

As you can see from the gameplay video, the game is set to be violent.

I for one think that the graphics look awesome, as well as the bike he was riding, and from the trailers I think that the game has a very underground feel to it.
Given a tentative release date of summer 2007.
What is everyone elses opinion of this?

I can't wait for this to come out. Will hopefully be getting it on the day. Love the comic book style of it.

The game looks awsomeeeeeee. From the gameplay it reminds me of the hack and slash gameplay of devil may cry. I love the cel shaded graphics, a lot of people don't like them but I do for some reason. I will deffinetly get this game since there arent any really blood and gore games for the wii, the closest thing is red steel.

I'm a big fan of cel shaded graphics. Windwaker for example, looked amazing.

I loved windwaker, I also like viewtiful joe (the graphics not gameplay HA) and that one inline skating game for the xbox when it first came out and it was on the dreamcast, I can't remember the name.

I remember manhunt, I was'nt to big a fun of it. I don't like just waiting around for action. I like a constant flow of gun slingin' sword flingin' action. That's why I've got marvel for the wii. It's very fun, everyone should get it.

Is Marvel a good game? I havent heard a whole lot about it. I may have to rent it.

Manhunt for the wii maybe crazy, I'll play it for sure.

It's def a fun game if you like gauntlet or devil my cry. It's like an rpg where you upgrade your charcters but it's not a turn based rpg it's like a hack and slash game. I recommend it.
