They are making a new channel called the nintendo channel.

*Wii demos too! If you have Dec 2007 of Nintendo Power, you can see it there too!
Nintendo has not decided when it will come out to USA. I is in japan though.

It's already released in japan.

Zap, no it does not let you download wii demos, but it lets you view videos of the wii games.

And a petition won't work becuase Nintendo is cooperating with third party companies currently, the it's hard to say to a company "yeah you can make games on our system" then after they dump money into it you go back and say "yeah that game can't go on our system anymore because you did a suck job of making it, try again"
If they did that they'd end up not having any third party developers even trying(which they barely are now anyway as far as quality is concerned). I'm pretty sure most of these companies know that they put out a half assed product but they don't realize that the consumers care. You'd have a better chance at changing things by either buying or starting your own software development company.

People think the wii can hold an entire demo :wtf:
The wii is a not like the 360 were you can download millions of games. The wii has only roughly half a gigabyte of memory, not even close enough to an entire demo.
But then people say "just put it on the sd card". Think about it. People will be able to hack into that with extreme ease.
Nintendo will most likely never put demos on the wii, unless it comes in the form of a wii demo disc.

The reason that all the 3rd parties keep making half-a** games is because people buy them. All the little kids don't know/care if its a good game. They just look at some videos and say "Mommy, can we get that?" Then of course mom doesn't know anything about it and gets it. They see that people buy the game anyways so they figure why bother making it any better, when they can practically make the same sales using half the effort.

What's the point of hacking a demo off of an SD card?

Nintendo should really add support for an external HD. That would make adding a HD very easy, and you wouldn't need to make proprietary hardware to support it.
