Nintendo today announced that it will launch a new entry level Mario Kart Wii pack on May 20, 2011, containing a white Wii, Wii RemotePlus, Nunchuk, Wii Wheel and a copy of Mario Kart Wii. On the same day, Nintendo will also be releasing a new range of software titles called “Nintendo Selects,” featuring a value for money selection of popular family Wii titles, including the likes of Wii Sports, WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Mario Strikers Charged Football and Animal Crossing: Let’s Go to the City.
And as if that’s not enough bargain-hunting goodness, Nintendo will also be reducing the trade price of its Wii Sports Resort Pack, which includes a black Wii, a Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk and a copy of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort on one disc. No price details as yet for any of the deals, but Nintendo says that although price is ultimately determined by the retailer, Nintendo will be reducing the trade prices of all the aforementioned items on May 20, with the idea that the retailers will be passing that reduction on to the customer.
