Just got told to update my system when using Wii News.
The update was a BIG one - I've now gone from version 2.2E to 3.0E.
Fonts look slightly different - clearer for example. There's also a digital clock at the bottom of the Wii menu screen now.
Also, there are a bunch of updates to Virtual Console titles - click the "Titles I've downloaded" button to check.... I saw updates to at least 5 of mine, including Super Mario Bros.
